Having A Baby in HungaryAre you having a baby in Budapest?

(The following is an excerpt from the book Having A Baby in Hungary, available for electronic download if you click on the link.)

Having a baby in a foreign country can be a daunting experience. I am here to help you with any questions or problems surrounding pregnancy, such choosing a hospital or doctor, figuring out the Hungarian health care system, communicating with hospital staff (English-Hungarian interpreting), preparing for birth, giving birth, and breastfeeding. I am a birth doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding counselor. I offer childbirth classes, prenatal consultations, labor support, lactation consulting and postpartum consultations. You may choose from any combination of these services.

What is a doula and how can she help?
